While the brand enjoyed top of mind awareness, what was missing was awareness of the depth of control the app's features give it's users on their travel plans. To remind viewers of the powerful features redBus offers, we crafted a love story, with a series of films directed by none other than Gautam Vasudev Menon, the king of romantic story telling in Indian Cinema. Because love stories have a universal appeal that cuts across languages, age groups, and economic realities. Especially when it features two of South India's most loved personalities, Nirmal and Samyukta. An unexpected, unlikely couple, that really got the internet talking and the world learning of redbus' powerful features.
