"Camping" (hiding and shooting) is the most hated way to play a shooter game. But gamers in India, with outdated laptop hardware, are forced to play that way because of slow devices dropping frame rates and glitching hen they move around the map.
So, we recruited an army of game streamers, to hunt down these campers, and help them with a discount on the latest Lenovo Legion gaming laptops. What ensued, was a hilarious series of in-game interactions leading to viral moments. Even viewers on stream could used the coupon codes dropped and upgrade their laptops.
This was done by leveraging an in game proximity based voice chat feature, in the latest Call of Duty game, that let a player hold the enemy hostage and deliver a final message before knocking them out.
